The Mary-Kyri collections are made for sophisticated, vibrant and passionate women who are not afraid to express their individuality. Mary-Kyri designs are not about a woman’s age, they are the essence of what characterises a woman. Created from the understanding of women’s needs and desires, the Mary-Kyri exclusive collection displays the absolute luxury produced entirely in Italy, unique workmanship, comfort and creative passion. They elongate a woman’s physique and change a woman’s demeanour.

My mission is to inspire women’s creativity through colour, design and fashion.

My shoes are made for elegant, sophisticated and passionate women who are not afraid to express their individuality. My designs are not about a woman’s age, they are the essence of what characterises a woman.”
As a girl, Mary-Kyri was obsessed with her mother’s shoe collection and often dressed up in oversized heels and way too much make-up to perform for the family. Her teenage passion grew to an addiction for designer label stilettos and clothing.
Completing a Diploma in counselling at the age of twenty, Mary-Kyri made an impulse decision and immediately enrolled to study fashion design. She completed a three year Diploma in Fashion Design, Clothing and Textiles at the Marleston Design Institute in South Australia in 2003. Shortly after, she was employed in a number of design apparel roles, however shoes were her absolute passion. It was during this period she gained valuable industry experience to assist her in her next journey.
Late 2005, Mary-Kyri boldly set her sights on creating her first shoe collection. On impulse she sold her car and purchased a return ticket to Italy to fulfil this dream. Once there, she secured a meeting with one of Italy’s most prestigious manufacturers who created footwear for the world’s most renowned designer labels. Mary-Kyri then worked in the factory, learning every aspect of high fashion shoe manufacture and began to design her first collection. In March 06 Mary-Kyri’s dream was realised and her first collection ‘Virago’ was released in Australia and New Zealand.
Mary-Kyri is a passionate, energetic and dynamic business woman who has been profiled in many long-lead magazines and newspapers, also speaking at a number of business seminars and appearing on TV shows. Now setting her sights on expanding throughout the world market, she constantly receives amazing opportunities to participate in renowned international fashion weeks and exhibit at the world’s most prestigious showrooms.
Mary-Kyri’s latest innovation, ‘Ustyler’ launches soon on IOS and android, via tablets and smartphones. With its suite of cutting-edge features, Ustyler offers fashion creatives the tools and support to design personalised 2D garments that convert into stunning 3D virtual runway looks. An elaborate digital marketplace of fabrics, luxury designer brand accessories and exclusive pieces of fashion history can be selected and purchased. Creatives can navigate the production process with ease and network with a global community of fashion experts, suppliers, designers, influencers, buyers and consumers. Mary-Kyri’s mission is to offer an entertaining, simplified fashion design, production and marketing process at a higher level of detail than conventional methods currently available.

In March 2006 the first ever ‘MARY-KYRI’ collection made entirely in Italy, ‘Virago’, was released in Australia and New Zealand. The collection focused on ten different designs, one in particular ‘Elisav’, becoming the brands signature design released every Summer.
The brand has developed an international reputation for producing beautiful, distinct, high fashion stilettos, flats, sandals and boots that are also extremely comfortable. It’s distinct handwriting is immediately recognised through dynamic design lines making every style versatile yet totally unique.
Mary-Kyri’s first celebrity recognition came with Australia’s very own Kylie Minogue stepping out in the signature design ‘Elisav’ in Manchester England in 2007. The image of Kylie graced newspapers and magazines around the globe bringing international acclaim to the Australian designed brand. Soon after many international celebrities and stylists followed requesting pairs of Mary-Kyri Shoes for Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Dannii Minogue, Katie Holmes, Emma Booth, Tamara Ecclestone, Delta Goodrem and Sarah Jessica Parker.
The MARY-KYRI collections have featured in International and Australian top fashion magazines including; Vogue, Instyle, Cosmopolitan, Studio Magazines, Grazia, Karen Magazine, Ultimate Accessories Guide New York, Collezioni Italia, Italia Bride and many more.
To compliment the fashion stilettos, a Bridal and Evening Couture collection was created made from chic exquisite silk, satin and French Guipure lace. It became a favourite of red carpet events to the world’s most prestigious entertainment awards, also gaining the international attention of renowned stylist Patricia Field best known for styling Sex and The City, The Devil Wears Prada and Ugly Betty. Patricia requested the ‘Jualla’ design covered in Swarovski crystals, among others, to grace the catwalk of the ‘No Fashion, No Makeup’ Maybelline Shanghai launch.
The brand continues to grow internationally into new markets, expanding it’s collections, target markets and design aesthetics. Watch this space!
